Time Traveler's Wife 282-302

   March 1994, Claire is 22 and Henry is 30:  And so they were finally married.  They began their marraige by living in a two- bedroom apartment.  Very shortly after their honeymoon they began looking for a house.  Every house they looked at Claire loved but Henry (seeing the future) knew that none of these houses were right.  He has been to their future house before but all he has seen was a big back yard with a studio in the back for Claire's art.  Claire was getting pretty sick of not finding the right house, so she decided to go house hunting by herself.  She thought she found the prettiest house ever, but when she showed Henry he once again told her that it wasn't the right one.  First of all it was in a bad neighborhood, there was basically a drug making center in their back yard, and second of all there was no studio for Claire's art.   Claire decided to take a break for awhile, the next time she went out she went with Henry and finally they found their dream home.
   May 18, 1994, Claire is 22 and Henry is 30:  It was moving day.  They packed up all of their stuff into big boxes and moved it all to the new house.  Before they unpacked anything they relaxed with a glass of red wine.  After their first glass they couldn't help but have another, and another, and yet another.  Pretty soon they were both feeling pretty good, and they both agreed to save the unpacking for some other time.   The next day they spent the day at lake Michagan wiith Charisse and Gomez.  They swam, roasted in the sun, and burried Gomez in the sand.  Pretty soon they were all worn out and decided to go to the book store.  Henry and Claire were book fanatics, but Charisse and Gomez hated books.  They would rather be at a bar or watching a movie.  They spent close to three hours at the book store leaving with close to fifteen more books to add to their collection.
  January 15, 1995 Claire is 23 and Henry is 31:  They are all moved into their new house and enjoying their time together while making dinner.  They are singing And Our Friends Are All On Board and suddenly Claire hears her voice floating alone and sees that Henry has disapered.  She folds his clothes and puts them on their bed; then begins reading while awaiting the return of her husband.
