Friday January 14, 2000 Claire is 28 and Henry is 36: It is early morning and Claire and Henry are at Dr. Kendrick's office going over some things. Kendrick has exciting news, he injected Henry's DNA into mice and now the mice time travel just like Henry. To prove to Henry and Claire he brings out a mouse and turns all the lights off. He holds a flash light right in front of the mouse's face and flashes it on and off like a strobe light. All of a sudden the mouse is gone. Kendrick finds out that all of the time traveling mice end up in the lab where they were born and return back to their cages in only a matter of minutes. Henry was so ecstatic, he couldn't believe somebody actually matched his DNA.
Thursday May 11, 2000 Henry is 39 and Claire is 28: Henry time traveled into the future, he is walking down a side walk in the city when he unexpectedly sees Claire. Her back is to him but she is looking at baby clothes through a store window. He knows that she desperately wants to have a child but also knows that miscarrying one more time could kill her. He walks up to her, she is startled but then catches her breath. He wraps his arms around her and to his surprise she relaxes in his arms. She tells him how miserable she is and he gives her a little secret about the future. He says, "Hang in there, in my present we have a baby." She feels a mighty sense of relief and simply says thank you.
Friday June 9, 2000/November 19, 1986 Claire is 15 and Henry is 36: It's 8:45am on a Friday morning and Henry is sitting in the waiting room of a Dr. Robert Gonsalez. Claire doesn't know he is there, because he is secretly getting a vasectomy. Henry is so scared, he feels like a traitor but he knows it's for the better. He would rather have Claire alive and well rather than her dying because of a 6th miscarriage. Finally Henry is called back and as soon as he gets up he feels sick and suddenly he vanishes. He finds himself alone in the meadow behind Claire's childhood home. Henry doesn't think Claire knows he is here so he begins walking to the orchard, then he hears someone running and yelling his name, it is Claire. She finally catches up to him and has to catch her breath in order to speak. Weirdly Henry can't seem to talk to her, he feels too guilty about the vasectomy even though it didn't happen. They begin arguing about it, Claire wants to know what he is hiding but he cannot tell. She gets in his face, only inches away and he kisses her. It's a rough kiss and she turns away and starts crying. Henry doesn't know what he has done but then Claire says, "you've never kissed me before." Now Henry feels like the biggest idiot, he totally forgot that she was only 15. They pretend like that never happened and kiss again. This time it's a much nicer, romantic kiss.
